Hey it's been a while since I last updated my blog life. Life gets packed with playing drums, golf, basketball, building forts, etc. I would like to share with you my class pictures. I'm in preschool. It's pretty much amazing! I'm learning my abc's and numbers. I shocked my dad the other day when we were building a fort. He was measuring something with his tape measure and asked me what number it was on. I said, "23". Nailed it! Duh dad, I'm in preschool!
My teacher is great. If she thinks I'm entertaining, she has seen nothing yet. Just wait for Eden-Jo next year! So far I think I'm a number guy. I like spelling but numbers are my thing.

Happy late Thanksgiving and Happy early Christmas to you! You know the life of a three year old can be very busy so I hope you understand the delay in my posts.
Sis and I are seen here running through the leaves in Papa and Nana’s backyard. It’s pretty cool. Papa piles the leaves up and the cousins, sis and I run through them like crazy folk on crack! I don’t even know what crack is but you get the point.
Well, what’s new with us? That’s a wonderful question, thank you for asking.
1. I learned how to say “excuse me”. I kept interrupting my dad and mom while they were talking. You know, “hey, hey, scream……hey, dad, dad, mom, cry…….whimper…hey!” Finally, my dad whipped around and looked at me in such away that would make any little boy wet their pants. “Son, when Mom and I are talking don’t interrupt, it’s rude! Next time say excuse me!” “Oh, sorry Dad”, I said. Excuse me, excuse me, umm excuse me, I said excuse me.
2. We got an early Christmas present! I had previously asked my parents for two dogs, one horse and a cow. The good news is that I got one dog. His name is Bear, cause he looks like one. He’s pooped on our kitchen floor a couple of times. I think it’s funny because it reminds me of when Eden poop in her crib. They have so much in common! Dad doesn’t think its funny and the same look he gave me when teaching me the phrase “excuse me” is the same look he gave Bear when he pooped!
That’s pretty much it from me. I’ll have Eden post in a couple of days. She’s to busy carrying Bear around in a headlock to take the time and write.

Well I had a fun time in Disneyland with me and my princess! We rode on fun rides, went to the beach and hung out in the sun. The real story lies when I got back home. See, over two weeks ago my mom laid me down for a nap. I woke up and was bored so I started picking at my foam mattress. One thing lead to another and I stuck some up my nose! On the plane ride to Disneyland my Dad and Mom started sniffing my breath like something smelled bad or something. Little did they know what I had done weeks prior. When we got home they realized that my breath wasn't the problem and that the smell was escaping from my right nostril. So on Sunday morning we went to see the Doc and he removed a 1" piece of molding foam mattress from my nose! My mom held my hands still while Dad secured my legs, torso and head. The good news is that the smell is gone. =)

Play-Duh
Sometimes my dad has eyes that will really frighten me! It's like looking into the the face of a wild, raging lion on the hunt for prey...from what I hear. The funny thing is it never happens when I'm playing with my red, blue or yellow play-doh. But the moment I make my own brown play-doh and throw it on the floor and smear it on my walls his eyes turn into that raging beast!

ER
No one panic (Papa)! It was just a little field trip to the ER. I was having a hard time breathing the other day so mom took me to the ER. Man, I really dislike anything that looks like a doctors office. They always stick stuff in your ears and throat. However, this new mask that I now where around the house for fun is a good addition. I think at one point, while in the ER, I had the entire wing looking in my direction. It wasn't because I'm so good looking, it's was more then that...it was because I was screaming at the top of my lungs! I even had one policeman trying to get me to smile and I yelled "no" at him. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, I was making a point...in case you don't know, I don't want to be here! That's the point I was trying to make clear by screaming at the top of my lungs for all to hear in a 4 block radius. Anyhow, mom and I stayed overnight. The people in white came in every hour to wake me up and check on me, what a pain! PTL, I'm back home and feeling much better! Thanks Mom!!

YUMMY YOGURT

I think yogurt is possibly the greatest food invented. That's saying a lot since I have a passion for food. What can I say, God has given me a near perfect pallet. I can eat this stuff morning, noon and night! I can eat yogurt in a bowl with a spoon, off a chair or floor with my hands. Whatever it takes to get that yummy goodness in my mouth. I would love to hear your thoughts. If you only could eat one flavor and brand of yogurt for life, what would it be?

This is my 1st time back to the park after my eye injuring of 2007 that occurred when I crash head first into the steps of the slide. Nana did a great job loading Sissy & Sunday into the wagon while carrying me bleeding and screaming back to my house. I healed well.

Happy late Thanksgiving!!! Sorry for the delayed salutation. I blame it on the leaf pile in Papas backyard. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The chicken prepared by Nana was off the charts. We watched football, bull riding and Cars (for the 133rd time). All in all it was a great day. Hope you enjoyed your time with friends and family as well.

Psssss Jack, don't move! Stay very very still and whatever you do, don't panic. They can smell fear and it's all over from there. So, here's what we're going to do; on my count we're going to make a bolt for the stairs. Once we get to the stairs we'll have to depend upon our toddler quads and climb like mad! At the top of the stairs make a sharp left then a right, and for the love...keep your head down! We should be in the clear from there. Understand, if we get caught, its nap time. Is that what you want, is nap time?! Me either so go on my count...1-2-3-7-9-10 GO!

Happy July 4th! However, we didn't enjoy the fireworks as evident by our expressions. I'm not fond of the loud death screaming noises that come from those things. We all decided to stay really close to our parents. Every time I wasn't paying attention one of those crazy things would go off and I would wet myself...good thing for diapers!

Crack, crack is the sound you'll be hearing if you don't get your hands off the little girl!

It's all fun and games until you move into a space that doesn't belong to you. Let's be clear, this space is at least 10 ft in circumference and by the looks of the previous picture you boys are in clear violation. 1-2-3 is the time frame I'll allot to you before your good day turns into a bad one! I just turned two today and I workout on a regular basis. Trust me you don't want to go blows with this toddler! I've been around the block once and I've learned a thing or two. Oh I'm just play-in, but seriously though I filled diapers bigger then you. Every time you think about laying hands on Sissy Jo just remember...my fist your face!

Yeah, its a clip on! I'm about 4 hours past my normal nap time and I'm looking forward to getting home. All and all it's been a great Easter weekend. I and 3000 other diaper waddling toddlers were unleashed on a field covered with eggs! Talk about a rush...at first I was a little reluctant as one could understand. Trust me, nothing is more alarming then a grass field covered with crazy-eyed, sugar inspired toddlers. It wasn't long before I joined the pack, all it took was one egg filled with sugary goodness and I was hooked! My good buddy, JACK, went one direction and I went another direction. Together we combed our area clean. Eden Jo is not quite able to run around yet, but Jack and I are getting her ready for next year. Working on her speed, hand-eye coordination, intimidating stare, etc. I think we'll make an unstoppable force this time next year.

Can you believe it? I'm almost two years old. Sorry I haven't updated you in a while. I've been working on my short game, you know how it is. My dad is hoping that I will excel in this sport. He keeps calling me his little retirement package, whatever that means. So, for now I'm just getting adjusted to the swing of the clubs. I love to smack just about anything with the old 3 iron...the walls, new hard wood floors, stair railings, Eden-Jo, golf balls, and pretty much anything else that obstructs my path. Don’t “they” say, practice, practice, practice right?
Enough about me, let’s talk about Eden-Jo. I know from the phone calls, letters, emails and media coverage that I was a really cute kid. But, I don’t hold a candle next to Sissy-Jo! She has a smile that will make you weep on the spot…not because it’s horribly awful but awfully wonderful! If her smile doesn’t find a place in your heart then her exquisite bright blue eyes most certainly will.
So here’s the problem I run into, I find myself fighting back other toddlers who want to hung on her…well at least that’s what I tell myself, I think I just find myself fighting other toddlers. I know, I know it’s something I’m trying to work on. My parents are helping me, wink, wink. Any how, Sissy-Jo is incredible!

I woke up at the break of dawn, rolled over on my back, looked up at the ceiling and quietly meditated, with breathless anticipation, on the big event swiftly approaching. I've always been of the mindset, "never give up-never surrender". I've heard it's been said by others that the boys in blue don't have a chance, not strong enough, out matched...well I beg to differ. There a lot like me, I'm not the biggest kid in the toddlers but I demand respect...if you push I'll push harder...you know what I mean? So I just want to give a shout out to the Boise State Broncos for a job well done! I'll never forget this game...possibly could be the best game of my lifetime.

Ok SissyJo, listen up. Pay close attention to what I have to say. Christmas is right around the corner...I'll explain to you later what Christmas is all about but for now just know that with Christmas comes the potential of getting a lot of gifts! What are gifts, you ask?...don't worry about that either because you won't know the difference...what I need you to do is help me out. Together, with our combined attraction we can melt the hearts of anyone...especially the grandparents. Grandparents are suckers for kids our age. Just follow my lead...listen, all you have to do is smile, make noises and laugh when they pick you up...stuff like that. I have a strategy all my own...I'll say their name (that gets them the most), I'll walk towards them with my arms extend in their general direction (that works as well), I'll dance, rap, make animal sounds, etc. The cutest thing that I do is close my eyes really tight and pray for them, man that gets things rolling! You should see their reaction! SissyJo, I think were going to make a great team.

There's nothing like being out on the old farm. Dirt in your diaper and dust in your hair. The smell of manure in the air. I must admit, I'm a country boy! If time would permit, I would've been playing in this field all day long. Thousands of pumpkins to choose from, and they tell you just to pick one...oh how difficult a decision it would be. Nonetheless, I conquered, and conquered well...I zoned in on the perfect pumpkin, after falling numerous times in the pursuit, I accomplished the task. Oh, only if everyday was dirt day!

Let's all be honest, who really takes the time to get out of the lake and use the commode...exactly, virtually no one. We know what's happening when you're standing in waste deep water, you're not moving and you're wearing a face like the one you see here. Those are sure tell-tell signs for anyone in your general vicinity to vacate quickly or get up stream. Grant it, a lake is bigger then a bath tub but the same principle applies. I'm talking about the "ONE's" not the "TWO's"! For the love of all that is sanitary, that's not cool. Trust me, I did it once while bathing and though it is covenant, the embarrassment to follow is never worth it. I've destroyed a many of bath waters with that little move, so my advice is take some extra time and get out. Hopefully, you the readers were inspired by this blog, but not just inspired...hopefully, you were changed! Recap: The "One's" are ok, the "TWO's" are bad.

"Say Hello to my little friend." For our protection you can refer to me as "Bruce" and to my pal in front of me, well...let's call him "Fletcher". Fletcher is one of my best friends. That's what my parents tell me. He's a great kid! Good ole' Fletch is starting to get some forward crawling motion. And I know from experience that once you tap into that there's no turning back. The world opens up to you and endless excitement and adventure beckons you to draw near. Such as, the toilet...I know people do funny things with it, and every time I walk towards it my parents nearly tackle me before I have a chance to hang on the bowl. But lets be real...what other household object is more entertaining then the procelain throne or as my mom calls it "her quite time"? Let's face it people...if it's such a bad thing then why do most people spend a good 14% of there life on it...Fletch and I want to know! We got that stat from some kid in the nursury, it might be a little off but you get the point. So yep, crawling is another step towards adolescent adventure. I can't wait until Fletcher is up and walking! If you think crawling is fun, walking is a completely different experience all together. I've heard what you've been saying..."Oh look at the little drunk waddling boy"and the "little belly rocker"...that cuts deep. Oh but just you wait, before long both Fletch and me will be up turning a "triple sow-cow toe loop" with the utmost ease and grace. Watch out toilet bowls here we come...make sure you shut your lids or else it will become a "Roaring Springs" for car keys, crackers, socks, bottles, toothbrush and pretty much anything we put in our hands. Life is fun!

Once again, sorry for the delay. Things have been a tad out of sorts the past few weeks. The little one had to go back into the hospital for an entire week. It's stuff like this that throws my schedule way off! I just get adjusted to her being in my house and the next thing you know she's gone. But now she's back again, people please, let's make it easy for us wee ones! The good news is that she's doing great. From time to time I would visit her at the hospital and wow the nurse's. I must say, they were a tuff crowd. I'm finding it difficult to compete with a girl such as her. C'mon, lets be honest, I know that my fake burps, my attempts of counting to ten and my seldom melodic songs does not hold a candle next to a cute, two week year old girl hooked up to an IV...that's way out of my league. So, long story short, I'm always looking for new material...

Speaking of new material, lets talk about my new drum and very own sticks. That's right, I've been druming in the off season...watch out Dusty! Drum sticks are fun, who needs a drum? I play them off the windows, the walls, plastic bowls, my dads little finger and his forehead...not a good idea I guess. But it does make for funny facial expressions.

Sorry folks for the delay. My week has been a little out of the norm to say the least. It all started a couple of weeks ago when I was out shopping for clothes with the parents, since when do boys wear pink and dresses? Exactly, it seemed a little strange to me. Don't get me wrong, pink I can handle but a dress is pushing it! So, I put my CSI skills to the test and after weeks of observation I concluded that someone else was moving in. And so it begins...She arrived in our home three days ago...not happy! I decided to ignore her, you know, let her know who runs the place. C'mon, just because you're little, super cute and possess a cry that melts hearts doesn't mean that you can come into my territory and take over. At least that's what I thought. To be honest, I really love my new sister. I actually rubbed her head softly yesterday instead of pushing on her soft spot. I've concluded that it's time to step up my game and in doing so I'll make her my little grasshopper.

Well, I'm told that a new addition to the family is on the way...hurray! To be honest, I'm having mixed emotions about this whole thing. On one side it will be great showing the little kid around, teaching her the tricks of the trade, how to smile, cry and laugh on cue. But on the other hand it just means more work for me. With two kids in the family this divides my amount of attention by half which means I must work twice as hard. This is really difficult for a 14month old to process, do you feel me? What will this do to my clothing budget? That's right folks, it will cut it in half! So now you all will see me walking around with a nice shirt w/o the pants...or for you lucky ladies out there...you'll see me walking around in a nice pair of paper denim jeans w/o a shirt.
Yet, in all of this, I willing adapt to welcome the new addition!

Hi. I just turned one a couple of months ago and thought its about time I start my own blog. I like to stay up with the times.
Its my responsibility to inform you on such things as; walking status, sticking fingers in foreign objects, eating anything resembling food, pooping in the bathtub...you know the basic kid stuff. For starters, the walking status is really just standing status at the moment. I can stand for 30 seconds while talking on a cell phone assistance free. It's really fun to watch the expression on my parents faces, its as if they're thinking at any given time our boy will take his 1st steps...its at that precise moment, when I've filled their hearts with hope, that I fall to my knees and crawl away laughing...its really fun. Think about, what if everyone crawled?
